If you get calls from them either visit: http://www.accoradvantageplus.com/page_au.php?cmsid=143 Or call them directly (Accor) on (02) 9280 9888.
Accor will instruct them to remove your number and stop calling you.

Ah-ha. The actual telemarketing company is called Allegiance Marketing PTY. LTD. Address for this branch is, L 2 45 Grenfell St, Adelaide, SA, 5000.
I must get a call from them once a year about the Accor hotels.

Received 1st dropped call on my mobile this morning & checked number on this site & found all your comments. Immediately added the number to my 'block number' list on the iPhone. Thanks for sharing :)

They started calling my wife yesterday, they only let it ring A couple of times so you get a missed call. I would suggest never ring them back, sometimes you can be charged stupid amounts of money per minute to ring these types of scams, although I'm not sure if that's the case here. After 6 missed calls in 2 hours we decided to block the caller. Funnily enough no more calls : ) Another easily used feature on the iPhone.

ITS A SCAM!!BEWARE. Never ever disclose your credit card details to any stranger over phone. I have reported this to police.. they had received several of these complaints. Accor service is a shady company anyways.. go google about how many unsatisfied customers they have and how they have fooled many many people into joining their membership (which seems attractive but never works out well)

be careful in sharing or someone else sharing your contact details with them, they call saying that there is an urgent matter to attend to the referred person, to get your phone number and then they start calling.

Today one person called me and asked me he is from novotel and they are offering a especial membership. He wanted to know my birth date and address and I gave him foolishly.

Trying to sell me accor hotels membership. EXTREMELY pushy. I asked if there was anything available online to look at and she said it was only over the phone using credit card as i was a "specially" selected member. That sounded very suspicious and when i declined she kept pushing asking why and can't i see the value? etc. When I said again that i wouldn't buy she started asking for friends and family to contact! I told her no i wouldnt recommend anyone until I've done my own research online, to which she responded with "ask me any question you want i can be your research." I had to say no many, many times.
After hanging up the more I think about it the more this definitely seems like a scam rather than a legit sales pitch from accor.

Yes, very persistant. I never answered cos i was at work but the called again and again over a whole month i think. When i would try call them back to ask them to stop calling each option on the answering thing lead to nowhere, so possibly a scam.
