I called back number (08) 8394 4000 spoke to a guy who said company name is Security Alarm Monitoring Service.

This is a legit security monitoring company that calls using (08) 8394 4000.

In case of an alarm sensor being triggered on a monitored property, they call the emergency phone numbers nominated by the person/business that pays for the monitoring. Our business has a large number of emergency numbers listed with them as they monitor many of our properties.

The emergency calls occur in the priority order as listed for the property. If the first number does not answer, they will leave a voicemail (if the number called has a voicemail service). They will then call the second number and so on.

The voicemail they leave says to call back on the second number 1300 365 151.

I guess the 1300 number means that the service can be rung back for the cost of a local call from anywhere in Oz. Perhaps, the 1300 number is also better tied into their customer answering system.

I came here to look up the number myself as I did not have it stored in my contacts and it looked suspicious. When I received the voicemail I realised it was legit and rang the 1300 number back. I have now saved both numbers in my phone's contacts.

They are a very polite and professional local company.

This number is consistent and bothering with no one on the other end .. really dodgy

This number calls at 3:00 am and ruins my sleep

Message said they were from a security company mentioning a place I hadn't dealt with in YEARS!!! Sounds really dodgy...

I called back number (08) 8394 4000 just kept on ringing no one answered the call and never got any voice mail.
