They are relentless. Don't give them your number if looking at vehicles there. We have had a Subaru vehicles in the past and considered another (preferably PHEV) but Subaru vehicles, despite being marketed as weekender vehicle for dirt back road driving outback trips, they don't make room for a for a spare tyre.... so they are not good on dirt roads or anything other than city driving short trips. They provide tyre repair kit, which is not great if you have a long distance still to travel and you actually want to get back on the road quickly, but the company claims most people don't have far to drive on a busted tyre anyway. What complete BS. This isn't the UK, Europe or Japan, Australia is a big bloody country. Any absolute joke of a car. It's bad enough when makers use space saver tyres, let alone nothing. If they want to stay in the weekender / outback market, they need to lift their game and add room for a full size spare. Or join the 21st century and build one with a full sized spare tyre and PHEV technology.
You might aswell buy a Mazda or Toyota if Subaru are going to cut corners like this.
We considered their vehicles over about 12 months ago and still they are harassing us with phone calls.
Get the hint Subaru.... NOT interested.
