Another now useless charity grovelling for donations will not and don`t support any charities now at all,they are a waste of time and the answering machine takes their call

Called wanting donations for rural families needing to go to city for cancer treatment. Didn't want to give them credit card so got them to send email which came in form of an invoice for $64 being one night's accommodation plus admin. Looked name up on Google and saw in past had been associated with fraud. Also noted on "receipt" that no mention of being tax deductible so decided not to donate. Was almost the same number as (08) 8307 6290 which previously called saying similar thing - at that time suspicious as to why SA number was calling on behalf of NSW rural communities so did not donate again (even though they ring every year). Since found mother in Tassie also received call from them and donated $120. Have warned others

I called back number (08) 8307 6260 spoke to a woman but did not hear the name of the company properly on the recording.

Charities don't have a .gov address. Do not give them any money.

Well spoken lady asking for donations to go towards accommodation for regional people who need to travel to cities for treatment. Asked for $60 per night. I asked for an email which was sent however l do not have positive vibes for this. Not on www.acnc.gov.au website. Tried searching their website www. breastcanceraustralia.gov. Not active.
Am not proceeding with donation
