Told me they weren't telemarketing but then proceeded to ask if anyone over 50 lived in our household as they wanted to do a seniors survey. Didn't seem impressed when I said I did not want to disclose information about my household to them.

Getting so many of these calls that I let them ring out and then use the *10# facility on my phone to find out where they came from. In most cases it is a number I don't recognise and I google it and find an entry like this.

I to am sick of all these scams. Any foreign sounding voice. I tell then some stretch of the truth. Have strung quite a few along. You get them on the computer as well. Wanting to sell you this that or the other.
Do these people think we are all stupid. I know some are.

Same as above. "Not selling you anything, just a short survey about Seniors Health." I asked how he got our number - we are not listed ANYWHERE and we are on the DNC register. Said something about random numbers for the survey. I said sorry - I am not a Senior (I am!!!) and I'm not interested in doing a survey. Goodbye.

Rang twice about 3 days apart, I picked on both occasions - spoke and no one spoke back

I was sucked in by this one claiming to be doing a survey of Senior health. She discussed some of my answers, agreeing that Senior Health was an issue that needed more attention. So now I have to be super careful that I don't get caught in any follow up scams.

If I have a call from a number I don't know, this site is the first I look on. Thank you to those who give feedback because I then know which numbers I need to block, such as this one.I'm too busy to be pestered by nuisance callers

Foreign sounding voice, said they weren't selling anything, doing a seniors survey. Asked if anyone over 50 lived in the premises. Said no and they hung up. Easy way to get rid of them.

Just received a call from this number. No one spoke when I said 'Hello'. I presume it is once again a scam. It is all very wearing and frustrating.

I just got one in Ballina - a seniors area. I missed the call. Usually I lead them on a bit, feign interest and then I ask them what they tell tier parents when the parents ask what they do at work - "do you tell them you steal money from people over the phone?" Middle class South Asians are very status conscious and conscious of meeting parental expectations . They hang up of course. Life is tough in India but other people do not resort to theft to survive.

They are persistent still trying. I will report it to ACMA but I think it's useless because I think it's a dodgy number

I had call today from (08) 8254 2361, claims Senior Health Survey, foreign voice Indian, Thai, Malaysia, or similar, I said No senior in this house, then I said go away scammer, the voice claimed no scam, and said what did you say your breaking up. Scam all over it

Have had multiple calls from this bunch - we screen all calls and don't answer unknown numbers. Lack of message on answering machine is a definite giveaway that the caller is a scammer.
Have registered complaint with ACMA (Do Not Call).

Another scam. Telstra told me that there is a device that can generate phone numbers. These lowlifes ring from overseas but an Australian phone number shows up on the caller ID.

I've had multiple calls from this number, and when I tried to call it back a couple of times to tell them to take my name off the list, I got the Telstra message that my call could not be connected. Very odd.
