Called multiple times no message-blocked them

Yet another call claiming to be a Health Survey. After standard spiel, immediately asked if anyone here over 50. Based on other comments here, it's a scam. I'm another dissatisfied customer of the Do Not Call Register.

I did not answer too late, I rang the number and this number so called not in operation. How can they use this number if it is technically not there. I feel like charging the government a GST of 25% for having to put up with this crap.

This number calls but never leaves a message, from the other comments here it seems to be a scam

Caller: "Australian Health and Wellness Forum"

'Fay" from the "Australian Health and Wellness Forum" with a strong Asian accent rang saying she was doing a survey and immediately asked if I was over 50.
It was a spoofed number so I hung up straightaway.

Same number as other comments but they've changed their name! She admitted she was calling from the Philippines, waited patiently and repeated the name slowly while I pretended to type it in and search (I think she thought I was a bit old and doddery). I told her all the results in the Google search indicated that it was a scam and I had no intention of talking to her - she was still talking when I hung up.

This number (08) 8254 2361 showed as missed call on my machine many times. Need to find out how to block these annoying calls!

Because these calls originate offshore the Do Not Call register doesn't apply.

I got a no answer after 2 rings , I am also on the do not call register , so I have blocked the Number

just seem to be gleaning as much personal info eg name, age range, and marital status and health status

Have calls like this every single day of the week despite being unlisted and on the do not call list. Likely a fake survey - there a identification protocols for genuine Aussie surveys that they never follow. Usually means asking people to divulge personal details so they can compile a caller list to facilitate even more scammer calls.

Keep ringing us, presume scammers, but then they hang up

Caller: heath and wellness scammer

A Filipina in a call centre talking about something to do with health and wellness. Asked me if I was over 50 and I said "none of your business." Then said "not interested" and hung up. I usually don't answer the phone, it's permanently on answering machine mode. However, the 08 number tricked me. I know numbers starting with 07 are scams. The 08 is a new one for me.

From a scammer it is to check out if you are home if you don’t respond to the phone call They can come around and rob your house because nobody is home

This number just called and left no message. I don't answer home phone and filter all calls through answer machine. Suspected scam of some sort.

They also rang me same number.
The call sounded like from overseas, India, Philippines or something close with an Asian accent. It was the voice of an young lady.
Does any one know what is behind such "survey"? What is in fact the aim of those calls so called "survey"?

Same call Senior Health Forum - knew they were from Offshore - so I just said go away - then Blocked them from my phone - whilst doing this they must have called again & received a voice message - it was the same man mimicking me saying "Go Away" about 20 times - laughing - Telstra are happy to take our money & use offshore people to work for them - though wont do a thing about these constant calls !
