I got a call from this number which I answered, and it was apparent from the conversation I had that the person calling had records of my past interactions with Wheelchair Sports (which now has a different name, btw, Disability, Recreation & Sports SA), so I would imagine that it is genuine, and it is a good cause. According to the White Pages, Western Fibreglass' number is (08) 8352 4989, but, each time I look up Wheelchair sports (instead of DRSS, where I get the 8234 number), I get an 8351 number, so obviously White Pages is all over the shop, which doesn't surprise me, as they haven't managed to get my number right for years!

I called back number (08) 8234 0285 reached IVR for a company called Disability Recreation and Sports SA.

Someone with an accent called me from this number claiming they were from the CFS and were trying to talk to me about koala's and car accidents (I could not really understand them). I eventually said I don't have time to talk as I am at work and I hung up.

It all might be legitimate, but See why people ringing from unknown numbers can't be trusted? They could well be pocketing donations for themselves!
