This is for Internode - the worst internet company. Most of their staff are based in the Philippines. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. AVOID this company like the plague. They were good once but now they are horrendously bad. Bad internet, bad service, BAD everything.

Scam call by my internet service provider.
Female with Asian accent.
She told me that the call was from ‘Name’ my Internet service provider. She offered to review new plans with good new deals.
My response was, I would only revise logged in online to my service provider and not on the phone. I would not give any personal details at all.

She asked why is that Sir?

I said you should know the answer. I paused for 30 seconds…. she said nothing.

Then I added, simply because there are too many scum scammers around.

She hang up on me.
This was the number. (08) 8228 2999 from Adelaide. Most probably fake.

BELONG mobile has one of the least technically trained support systems in this country. Repeatedly ask for irrelevant information to avoid answering the questions about their lack of signal. "maybe it's your phone" "send us some screen shots" "try your SIM in a different phone"..... on and on and on, three weeks later, they decided to tell me that their coverage doesn't even exist in the area.

Just Internode provisioning calling because I signed up to the NBN but I havn't connected the hardware, so they are following up. All good!

This is internode's number. Worst customer service ever. Go anywhere but not internode.

Cancelled all my plans after having so much trouble simply trying to cancel on our BnB. Lied then delayed the process so I said all my plans will be cancelled. Been satisifed customer since 2004 but this tipped me over the edge when time was against me. 37mins talking to cancel 1 plan. 😡

Caller asked for details without identifying who they were , upon questioning stated were from internode. Payment information was requested from the lady that had rung me . After stating I’d ring back I wasn’t comfortable giving her my details she was defensive and tried to keep me on the line. Call ended I rang internode and they couldn’t confirm the call came from them in fact they stated they do not do outbound calls relating to payments .

Answered the call, there was a few seconds of silence and then the call disconnected.

From reading here they are Internode, which used to be a great internet provider for gamers but have since twice been bought out. Their customer service used to be one of the best, based in Adelaide but now (again from reading here) its based in the Philippines. Last service call I had their tech support the lady had kids crying in the background along with dogs barking and chooks cock-a-doodle-doodling 0.0 She did fix my problem though. I'm finding their service 'O.K.' for now, I don't need them to call me all the time for 'new deals' so am ignoring calls from this number. Should I have any awful problems that aren't fixed efficiently in the future I will move on to someone else as this was the reason I quit Primus well over a decade ago when they moved their helpdesk to India.

They say they are iiNet but then ask for personal details. When I refuse to give those details, they hang up. Seems like a scam.

I called the alternate number on this site as I have an internet problem - I am with iiNet - however, the operator said it was nothing to do with them.................very odd

Could not hear anything on the line when I answered this call, then call was terminated by caller. Rang back, call immediately terminated......................

Wasn't bad when iiNet took over but now that TPG has both it's way bad and sliding downhill fast.
