When they rang yesterday 16.3.2020 they did leave a msg. Said they were OT hand therapist and she wanted to book me in with physio, her name was Lauren and gave me this number.
While I do have an issue & had a scan recently my doctor had not yet seen me to give me the findings and results nor have we discussed possible treament options and alternatives.
I find it Odd that their number came up private firstly, but then its not listed anywhere seemingly Ive tried, then she never gave any additional info on who has referred and given them my number to which I have not consented, as it had not been discussed with me and its premature to my appointment to get information on findings.
I tried to research the number could not find anything except that it may be WA, SA or elsewhere said likely a landline.
I rang back on 17.3.20 8 times. It was engaged mostly, one after other however on call 4 rang out. Call 6 rang and rang they answered but then hung up on me. Tried again engaged. Then last 2 times rang out no answer. Last one engaged.
I have blocked the number now as I have no idea who or what they are up too, if a scam or not.
However if this is a legit professional business then I am disgusted and concerned with their and other professionals conduct, as if real, I was not kept in the loop of my life, health, choices and a possible breach of my confidentiality may have occured.!!
By the way there was no way to leave a msg to them when I called back, to let them know that I had called back nor have they tried to call me back yet!
Very odd if they were wanting to makr an appointment with me! Or am I being nuerotic? I think not.
