Scam from tax office

Caller: ATO Scam

When being put through to a guy with an Indian accent after the threatening robocall, I asked if he knew who I was.
‘No.’
‘Then how can this possibly be a legitimate call?’
‘Do you want the police to come and arrest you?’
‘You don’t know who I am!’
It was then that we both shared a genuine laugh and he hung up on me.

Advised I owed over $4,000 from 2015 to 2017 and when I tried to say anything to him he wouldn't let me talk. I asked if he was from Australia and he hung up. I called back and he said his name was Brian Cooper and he was a lawyer for the ATO and was based in Box Hill (with an 08 code!!). I told him I was not comfortable and would talk to my accountant and hung up. HE WAS A TOTAL FAKE AS HE HAD A DELAY IN HIS REPLIES FOR STARTERS
