I called back number (08) 8115 9435 reached IVR for a company called TSA Telco Group.

Same as above - claimed to be from Telstra, but asked me for my personal information and didn’t like it when I pointed out that THEY phoned ME, an unsolicited call, so why the hell would I give them anything? Claimed it was ‘company policy’ and I told them it’s a flawed policy.

How these idiots got my unlisted number. Who knows. 7 missed calls in 2 days. Give up already.

They keep calling and hang up as soon as I answer. Blocking them now.

Said she was calling on behalf of Telstra to check I was getting value for money. Asked me to verify my name, address and date of birth. I pointed out that she had called me so I didn’t have to prove anything to her. Told her I wouldn’t give that info to a cold caller (and we are on DNC register) and asked her to email me her offer. She asked for the email address - I said it is bigpond so you should already have it. Haven’t received an email yet......

Called by an Indian guy who said "I'm from Telstra, your service provider". My sevice provider is one of the Optus resellers so I knew this was a scam anf hung up immediately!

I too have had issues with this number. I believe that if you answer the phone and they hear your voice, they make a determining factor there and then whether they can con you out of whatever it is their con is. I've answered the phone and had no one talk back, I have a deep male voice so this may have intimidated them. I would be interested to know if the people who answered and they didn't speak were male and those who answered and did get talked to were female.

Called our Landline twice in the last 3 days. No one ever calls us on that number, so I figured it was something like what I've read above. Glad I didn't answer.

Claimed to be TSA regarding changing all Telstra services in area to nbn and wanting to make a time to do this. When I spoke with Telstra the next morning they had no record of anyone calling me.

They keep phoning back our other number and never leave a voice mail. I am glad we looked this scammer up!

Said it was Cameron from Telstra in Brisbane (strange as SA number) wanted to give me a better plan on my phone. Knew everything about my account. When I ask if I could do this at local Telstra store he was quick to say “ no not with all the COVID 19 closures, knowing that my local store is open alarm bells started to ring so quickly searched number and after reading these comments I hang up. Since then he has tried calling from a Perth number (08) 6228 4161)

I have had 10 calls from this number, none of which I've answered. Surely, after trying to ring 10 times and not getting an answer, they'd get the message? But no, on average I'm getting two calls per day.
