Caller: David

I'd just unpacked a new HP printer and registered my details with HP. Within minutes a man called David purportedly from HP phoned on this number to ask if I needed help to install the printer. He said he was from Canberra and within seconds he had remote accessed my computer and was attempting to copy all of my files. He told me to hang up and don't touch the computer for 10 minutes and then he'd phone me back to say the drivers had been loaded and the printer would be ready to use. Meanwhile, I noticed he was into the Windows files and turned off the computer. By then, my antivirus had detected what was going on and also blocked him. I immediately changed all of my passwords, but noticed there had already been an attempt to log into internet banking. Beware!
