Today they called me saying they were from "Simply Energy" to save me money on my gas and electricity - they could guarantee 20% discount without even knowing what my current bills are. Calling from India, more than 5 calls today.

Though I'm sure there are plenty of others, they're calling on VoIP from India.

I've just blocked that number, along with several others over the past few days.

They keep calling me. I don't answer and they don't leave a voicemail. I'm going to block the number now.

Called me and didn't say anything, just silence.

Bloody annoying. Mostly they call and hang up. Sometimes they answer as "Simply Energy". They start calling from about eight o'clock in the morning right through until eight at night.

As per other posts here, Simply Energy is using multiple area code 08 numbers - In the last two weeks I have been bombarded with calls from:
(08) 7912 8298
(08) 7444 4581
and (08) 7123 4374
Supposedly they are trying to save you money on electricity accounts, but if you tell them NO one day, they just call back the next day on a different number and try again!

Scammers of some sort

Same - called me 2 times after I asked to be taken off their database - just block and register your phone on the do not call register (Cth Govt - takes 1 min)

have asked them to stop ringing . I blocked the number but am still getting calls

Calling for the last 4 days. Two or three times a day. Have put on my blocked list but phone shows me they're still calling.
So ready to give them a piece of my mind.

Call every day, they dont reply when answered so i hang up, SCAM just BLOCK them.

Simple energy calling from India, they are also using a Melbourne number as well. they are full of sh*t

offered me 29% off electricity 17 % off gas, but couldn't tell me the address of the property they were referring to.

Two univited calls to my mobile over last two days. Both calls hung up without leaving a message. Googled the number and bingo - lots of annoyed people, and now me too. Who are selling these lists of mobile numbers? Mine is not listed anywhere.
