Supposedly from the "Do Not Call Register", asking if I had any nuisance calls and that he would fix it. He confirmed my name and address(obviously obtained from the net). Then asked me if I paid my Telstra account via direct debit and told me the expiry date of my visa card and could get my card I confirm it!!! I gave him a false expiry date and he told me it was definitely wrong and to recheck it. This idiot had somehow got details of an OLD credit card of mine which had been cancelled 2 years ago!! BEWARE , don't get scammed, I DIDN'T!!

Rang twice. No answer. Then fuzzy voices. Possible overseas call centre hijacking an Australian number.

Got a call from this number but they hung up when my answer phone came on. When I called back I got a message to say the number had been disconnected. Odd.
