Beware people TIR-B is misrepresenting themselves as a analysing service of overcharge billing from your local exchange. They are not, they really are just a telemarketing group who make commission from referring you to a new phone provider if they can find a better deal than what you are on. All they want is to get your phone bill by making out they are doing you a free service. I must admit its a great gimmick but they are just disguising their business as something that they are not.

Caller: Telecommunication Industry Review Board (not government) I spoke to one of your representative today. As we discussed, the Telecommunications Industry Review Board are commissioned to actively rectify overcharging issues on accounts listed on exchanges which have a large amount of complaints. On this note, our records and information indicate that your business is being overcharged for its telecommunication services. The types of services which have been affected include landline (PSTN and ISDN), ADSL, mobiles and mobile broadband. In saying this, we would like to analyse your current account to determine the level of overcharging that is occurring on your account. This analysis would require me to view a recent bill or phone account so I could see what services you currently have, your usage patterns, and compare it to the prices you are being charged. Once I have that information, I can then get back to you with the result of my analysis, and if you are being overcharged, provide you the information you need to get the issue rectified without changing service providers. To get this rectified, please reply to this email with a copy of your bill, and we will get onto that for you. Alternatively, if you want to fax it, please send attention to Mike to (08) 8125 3894. I will book the analyst in to do your analysis Friday, the 14th of September , so if you can get the bill across before then, they can get it done for you and I can let you know the result. If you believe there will be an issue in getting a bill across before the above date, please let me know ASAP. Please note, this is a free service, and the analysis, or assistance in getting any overcharging rectified does not incur a charge to you/your business.
