company called 24/7 insurance. where did they get my number.

asks for personal details and information without identifying themselves or the purpose of the call or how my number was obtained - when asked repeatedly who was calling the caller finally said something about "247" and "life insurance" & that they were trying to be "helpful" but would not provide any contact details or clearly state the purpose of the call other than to say they wanted to be "helpful" and hung up when I questioned them further - if you call the number back you will be placed on hold for 5-mins and listen to a recorded message about how important your call is and then it will automatically disconnect . Comes up as a McLaren Vale SA number. Ring em back and just stay on the line to annoy the crap out of them.

Scam. Bought my number from "Australia Disc" they called once and said goodbye and then called back later.

These guys really pissing me off u answer the call and it hangs up u call back to abuse them it says Ur call is important to us please hold to talk to someone and nobody answers. If someone eventually talks to me I'm gunna rip them a new one

keeps ringing but doesnt leave a message and says message bank for them is full.

Provided my contact details to a company called Product Testing last week and since then have been inundated by telemarketers. This number was among one of them. Don't know what they were selling and blocked this number.

Ive blocked every number. Im so over it

It appears that they got my number from a company called Australia on Disc, which is a data mining company that got their claws into me within a week of my getting my mobile number. They take no responsibility for how the people they sell your details to use that information. You can ask them to remove your details at this address:
