Rang at 7.45pm at nite time. Totally rude and unacceptable! I dont care who it is and what it is. Any telemarketer or market reseach should knows its illegal to call after 7pm at nite. Leave us alone. Some of us works all day and we do not need phone calls at nite time when its our time and peace. Also im on do not call lists. That could have been 2 breaches of fines there at $100,000 each. Do not ever do it again or it will be reported.

Decided they would try and bother one of my relatives by ringing her mobile. She didn't answer it as it was an unknown number to her.

Caller: a very polite lady from an Australian market research company

I was tempted not to answer the call as I didn't recognise the number but I did in the end and discovered a very polite lady from a genuine market research who were conducting a survey about peoples opinions of SA Water. Not a scam at all. Was happy to help out.

I found out recently that phone companies sell our numbers to other companies such as telemarketers and debt collection agencies. Your number may be listed on the don't call registery but it doesn't mean your number hasn't already been sold off to other companies. My mobile number is listed on the don't call registery but these days it means nothing. It's a complete waste of time. For those that have iPhones, try blocking the number. You can't do much if it comes up on your screen as no caller id or the like.

Got a missed call. Purposely didn't pick up as it was from 08 area code. I'm from Sydney, don't know anyone from there. Looked it up. Where did they get my mobile no#?? Not happy. Rarely give my no# out to anyone or enter competitions. Are personal mobile nos publicly listed, like in yellow/white pages?

Called at 7.10pm. Didn't pick up but the phone's smart caller ID said it was suspected spam.
Company numbers shouldn't call after 5pm, simple as that.

A genuine market research call from SA, wanting to do a survey. Very nice person I spoke to, when I declined they were very nice about it.

Keeps calling me and after seeing comments about a scam or survey chose not to answer. Unsolicited and I am at work. Called at 10am.

Called my mobile first, didn't recognise the number so let it go, however they ended up ringing my personal, private house number, but my mum answered, saying they were from Focus Research - when I searched this group online, they have no website or details about the company so I have already assumed they might be a scammer and I have blocked this number.

Rang 8pm. I didn't answer but rang back to find out. I find this an unacceptable time to call and is not important.
