I did not respond or call, don't trust it.

Same as others have said, it's a fake message saying I paid $2199.99 for a Canon E0S R6-HD-Camera on 2021-05-04 and says to call this number for dispute. It's a complete scam.

Same message to me about buying Cannon Camera for $2199.99

Text with fake AMZ number claiming I purchased a camera and wanted my credit card number to refund money. SCAM. Wasted their 2 hours.

SMS from 0411 029 382 pretending to be Amazon saying that a payment of $2199.99 has been made on your credit card for a Canon camera. To dispute the charge they ask you to call the 08 number. They already have your mobile phone number and email address. After they try to login on Amazon the automatic code gets sent to your phone to verify. They ask you to confirm this, and if you do so they input the code and this generates an email link to change your password. They will ask you to click the link which will give them access to your Amazon account. Its best of you simply don't call the number (let alone confirm any details).

I've received same text as others regarding purchase of $2,199.99 for a Canon EOS R6-HD-Camera and a fake AMZ #. The text was sent from number 0432 585 277. FAfter reading similar post on this by others, considered it is a fake/scan, so simply ignored the text and blocked the originating mobile number.

I agree with other posts - THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!!!
I have checked all of my accounts just in case but did not have the funds required for this transaction.
DO NOT CALL THEM BACK - They will probably want you to identify yourself and provide/collect your Credit Card or Bank Account details.

SPAM - Amazon order didn't place - do not call.

Unsolicited sms claiming I had purchased a Canon Camera for $2,199.99. Gave a fake AMZ order number,

received a text message confirming I had paid $2199.99 for a Canon EOS camera and if I had a dispute to call a number. Checked my accounts they were clear - suspect scam message wanting you to click on the link

Similar to many people here. Received a text from 0412 025 729 stating:
"You paid $2199.99 for Canon EOS R6-HD-Camera on 2021-05-03, AMZ-order#70154120VD3. Help-line (08) 7200 7080 for dispute."

Not sure how they got my number but it could be when I made an on-line purchase on eBay 2 weeks ago?
