I was given this number by an Indian sounding man named "Vicky" on a fake "Microsoft Support" scam call. I played along with them and was to call this number and ask for "Mark" after depositing the payment for the "Software Warranty" in their bank account using details they were sending in an email (which I didn't receive).

The companies name is Comantra and they are based in India. They had their Gold status cancelled by Microsoft after numerous complaints that they were doing tech support phone scams. Here's a link to one of the articles: http://www.geek.com/news/microsoft-dumps-gold-status-partner-comantra-over-tech-support-phone-scams-1423173/

Totally fraud. These people over smart. Cheater miss leading people. Taking control of other people's computers and black mailing them asking for credit card details to get money. Don't trust them. They using ammyy.com and nirvanas.net. Your computer could be ok but problems starts once these people take control of it.

I am sick and tired of these people calling me. They phone at least once a week. Sometimes I play along if I have the time (its thier phone bill) but DO NOT LET THEM ONTO YOUR PC. at the end of the call when they realise they arn't getting anywhere they become abusive saying they will F*ck you up the A*se and such like. I wish someone could shut them down if only to stop the calls.

These idiots ring my house at least once a week at the same time. Tonight Andrew from Microsoft Technical Support told me that my computer had sent an error file to them saying I had malicious files and he could help me. Asked where he was located : INDIA. Asked for a phone number got one (08) 7200 1644 for a company called Mantra Solutions. Andrew was arrogant, abusive and told me a professional PA for 18 years that I knew nothing about computers. I asked for an ABN which he said he could not provide because it was conficential. I then told him I had set up businesses before and he was full of sh*t as it can be obtained via the ABR website and on their company stationery. I asked for a supervisoe which he refused to transfer me. He then had the audacity to ring back with a supervisor. When my husband rang them back and mentioned teh Australian Federal Police they apologised and HUNG UP. Don't be fooled this is a scam......

I had a phone call today from commandra, an Indian speaking man called Russel, than Roger said we had a terminal virus on our computer. He was speaking with a 13yo, when I asked him where is was from (after interrupting) he got aggressive and said he was there to help. Called back the number and spoke with other people. I would not trust them. Please do not let them in on your computer.

Another scam about PC sending out alerts. Going by information on other web sites it would appear to come from "commantra.net" (a Microsoft Partner) as far back at Feb 2010. Beats me why Microsoft doesn't shut them down.

I got a call from an Indian guy who said i had ``downloaded malicious deadly files'' and he could help me fix it. I asked him where he was from and he said the company was called Comandra (there is no such thing - and i got him to spell it). I asked him for his supervisor's name and his phone number, which he gave me - this one, which he said was toll free. He asked why i wanted the number, I said, to confirm who you are, then he hung up on me.

Had a call from a man with an Indian accent from a company that was a partner of Microsoft apparently. He told me to go to my Event Viewer on my Windows computer, and showed me there were Errors. But at this time, my phone started screwing up and he told me to ring this number instead, which I'm definitely not ringing after reading the complaint above.

No of course reply and just be an awkward customer, wasting their time right up until they ask for remote control of your computer. At that point ask them whey they are a criminal and a scammer. Being very rude to them makes them think twice about making another call. It can be very entertaining.

people scaming a user and then trying to defraud you and then down loading a virus on to your computer WATCHOUT DO NOT ACCEPT! They are calling from India
