Caller: Unsure I got a call very similar on my work ph, however, it said for purchasing a gift voucher. I hit 1 to speak to an operator and it hung up, I called back and got through, I believe it sounded like she said it was an eBay call center. When I asked about the call and informed her that I had not purchased anything, she hung up the phone.

I got a recorded message. Hung up and got through to a person who said they're from Ebay Customer Support. They hung up when I said I would check online and then I ended up on this site. Why can't these scams be shut down? Maybe legislation needs to catch up.

Left a voicemail that someone is direct debit $249.99 from my account and they want to confirm I make that payment. Well how can we trace this back, I am from Nsw and they ring from Adelaide. If they think we’re that unaware I wish they see me in person and back it up good luck I’m sure you’ll find someone else to scam🤦♂️👎🏾

Caller: Automated scam call Called back, gave them a false name 1st name, no last name and they continued like they had all my info. They disconnected when I challenged why it mattered if I had an Android or IOS phone. Apparently they need to know so they can see which virus link to send us.... ergh! Make them stop!

Caller: (08) 7200 1045 Scammers. As above. Didn’t answer as don’t know the number. Robo message left saying from EBay customer support. Immediately followed by a No Caller ID who didn’t leave message. Am so sick of scammers and my tech-illiterate relatives are having a hard time dealing with it right now

Caller: (08) 7200 1045 I got scammed big time by these thieves! I don’t know why but I gave them remote access to my phone as he was trying to help me get my money I was scammed out of. I even gave him a picture of my driver’s licence. I have been crying at being such a fool. I have reported them to the police. They originally called saying my eBay account was hacked at 7.00 am this morning. I asked her again where she was from and said EBAY. They will no doubt do identity theft on me. I’m a carer. These mongrels need putting in gaol or deported, but then again they would be in India 🤬
