I got received a call from a lady asking if I had car accident and if I am still claiming....

I answered, there was a lot of noise in the background, lasted about 5 seconds then they hung up.

100% scam, An Indian woman asked whether I was involved in car accident last 12 months, said they are independent accident authorities? Cannot answer the purpose of the phone call, where they got my number from, not even the details of the accident etc, make absolute no sense, I don’t even live in Adelaide anymore. Bunch of Indian scammers

Yes another scammer, blocked number.

Didn’t answer but research shows number is a scam number re recent car accidents
Will block the number now so no future calls can be made to me

Said hello no answer then a woman muttered a word I couldn’t understand, then they hung up ?

Knew my name. Asked if I had ever had a car accident that wasn’t my fault. She said I had appeared on some list. I hung up then. Seemed like a scam
