Caller: “National Claim Hotline” scam SCAM. It’s yet another Indian scam claiming you’ve been in a car accident. They’re phishing for data, so if you answer it use a fake name and waste their time for as long as you can.

Hung up instantly upon answering. Appears to be one of a sequence of numbers reported here as spam. Will place on blocked number lists.

Caller: Allegedly 'National Claims Helpline' Claimed location was at Level 3 9 King William Street, Adelaide. I asked for and received ABN: 99619157363. Claimed that someone from my family or friends circle contacted this organisation. The person could not confirm my full name, despite someone close to me allegedly contacting them. Could also not tell me the name of the CTP insurance company involved with the alleged accident. If I recall correctly, the caller then advised that the ABN was set up as, 'Maintenance'.

I got called by an Indian woman on (08) 7160 3607 saying she was calling about a car accident I had within the last year. I told her she was a scammer as I have been rung about this before then hung up on her. I have not been involved in a car accident for a long time. That's how I knew it's from a scammer.

Caller: National Claim Helpline Scam, after me telling them I had not been in any accident, not even a minor one, they asked if I had any family or friends who may have had an accident, basically trying to get me to give a friends details so they could go try and scam them.

It could be beyond bank but I don't know, if they can't be bothered leaving a message then I have no interest in hearing from them
