When I told them no thank you, I wasn't interested and would appreciate being taken off their list, he said, "what list?".
"The list you seem to have me on even though I only use this phone for work and emergencies, so when it rang with a number I didn't recognise, I panicked"
the reply being... " Well, no, think about it love, you get to save a load of money"......
Don't call me with crap I don't want and then, when I tell you no, argue and call me f'ing LOVE!!!!

I think it is Simply Energy- took one call and told them I was not interested...they have called every day 4-5 times a day. I think they do not leave messages as people would be even angrier if we had to pay to retrieve the useless messages they leave. They keep trying til they catch you. I answer and say nothing....eventually it cuts out. Try this...don't say a word...they don't say a word either as these calls are computer generated and a sales person does not get allocated til the computer detects a voice on the other end of the line. the only way to protest is to answer, say nothing and let them pay the mobile call costs....

I answer the ring...and don't say anything....it is an automatic callout and it stays online until they end the call. They are insistent - calling numerous times daily. They will have a big useless phone bill as the line stays connected for minutes because it is a voice activated system and unless I say something, a representative does not get allocated....crazy...If this is AGL... Too little, too late....they don't care while you are a customer and then don't stop badgering you.

I received a call on my mobile from Simply Energy asking for my son!! I told them he was a teenager and the guy said he would remove my number from their list. The ONLY way they would have called my son on this number is because he had to use my number for a while when job searching. So sick of companies selling our details to other companies.

Countless calls a day over the past few weeks, all of which I ignore. I just received a call 5 minutes ago and decided to finally answer. A male by the name of Daniel was calling from 'Simply Energy' telling me that they were doing a lot of business in my area. I quickly told him I didn't own a home, then he proceeded to ask if I had authority to make changes to the energy bill. I then said, if I don't own the home, how do I have any authority? (I live with my parents), then he went on to say you can if you rent, so I told him I live at with my parents, and if anyone had any authority it would be them, and then I asked why is it I'm the one who receives all these calls when they receive none, yet they're the home owners? Midway through asking the last question, he hung up on me.

I wasn't rude, raising my voice, nor was a swearing. Yet he had the audacity to hang up on me. A true telemarketer wouldn't just hang up on you abruptly. Aren't their calls monitored? I'd fire his arse in a second for treating a "potential customer" the way he did.

Clearly just another scam wasting our time and raising our blood pressure.

I've been getting these calls too, I called simply energy and got put on a no call list so no one from the company can call me! Perhaps this could help others

simply energy cold contact. my name is not even on the bill so don't know why they rang me. I just hung up on them.

Number is blocked and log shows 2 calls per day 4-5 hours apart each day.

I refuse to answer this call, but I may answer tomorrow now and give them a serve. f*ck them!

They have called me 4 times today, out of the blue. Will not answer because if they don't leave a voicemail it can't be that urgent. I'm so glad I can look these numbers up on reverse australia!

getting around 4-8 calls a day from this number, they dont leave a message.. its getting beyond a joke and bordering on harrasment... How do we get them to stop?
