They purposefully leave a missed call so you can call them back and engage in their scam. Dont call back if you dont know the number. It may be instinct or being polite by calling back, but you give them exactly what they want by doing so.

Follow up call from 0416 449 295 when I acted interested but then hung up. A further call then received from+5088414712 which is St. Pierre and Miquelon

Recorded message said they were from ANZ Bank with a transfer for me of $1200

Received call on my mobile and the caller hung up after two rings. Then I saw all these comments. I blocked this number. Date 12 October 2024. Time of call 3:58 pm

Said they were from Amazon and calling about a phone I ordered when I said I hadn’t ordered anything they told me scammers are creating fake accounts and Ito put them on speaker and open google so they can show me how I’m being scammed when I said they are the scammer they hung up😊

Called our landline. No one spoke for a few seconds, then a female voice said hello twice and then hung up. Called back but always engaged. Suspect marketing or scammers.

Caller: Tesler "investment" scam.

After I hung up on these scumbags, they started peppering me with calls using numbers from Perth, Sydney, and Bangkok. When I failed to answer, they resorted to filling up my voicemail. 😄

Pretended to be mastercard/visa said they blocked a payment

Said they were from Amazon and would be debiting $99.99 from my account and to press 1 to cancel. I have no Amazon account. Blocked.
