Caller: Not a call, message on computer screen. Screen frozen, combination of pop up windows present. Predominant one says “critical framework error” and to call this number immediately. However given there are no search results on the number I can only believe it to be a scam or a virus - perhaps malaware.

This is definitely a scam. They spent nearly 2 hours on the phone pretending to be from Microsoft, after locking up my computer and then and accessing my computer. They then tried to draw a large amount from my credit card but by that stag I had realised it was a scam. The Banktold me it is a common problem. I had to get my copier wiped before the bank would reinstate my online banking. Like one the other writers, once I realised it was a scam, they got rude before I hung up.

Caller: A message on my computer's frozen screen Claimed to be Microsoft and need to call the number to fix the problem. They do then ask for very personal details and when I refused to do the banking app, they got rude and angry and hung up. I believe this to be a scam and please take care with this number.
