I said can i please have your operator number, And direct contact number..

I must have ended up on a list of “please call about electricity rates” every few days I get a different person and new number calling me saying the same thing about how my electricity rates have changed.

I have been getting these, 3-4 times a week for the last 10 months but after about 3 weeks they stop. I sometimes have to call my Service Provider, Telstra every 2/3 months regarding an issue and I'm starting to realise that when I do, the calls with the '08' prefix start up again....?!? The '08' prefix is from Western Australia and my mb states that too. I've only answered twice and all I hear, for a few seconds is a lot of voices like a 'call centre' in the back ground then they hand up. Have been blocking the numbers but another comes through with a different digit but same WA prefix...so annoying!

All these scams are outsourced to cheap Filipino companies. I hear their ascent and immediately disconnect.

Indian accent guy named Gary, claimed to be from Australian Energy something and had my address and name. insisted to get my NMI (number on my electricity meter). He said they do comparison of electricity bills and suggested a better price to me by changing to another company. He never revealed the name of that company 'because he needed my NMI to see what type of meter I have'. Even though I told him my meter type, still wanted my NMI. Anyway, I told him I'll send it to his email which is info @ globalsalessolutions.com.au
checked globalsalessolutions.com.au, at this time I'm typing, the website has been last updated 2-3 weeks ago which is suspicious to me.

Company has called me non stop for 3 months every time I ask if they can take me off the mailing list, some start to argue, most of them just hang up on you...do yourself a favour and block their number. We signed up with monster energy which are a dealer of gas and power, then all of a sudden we get spammed with this stuff that I’ve never had before... hmmmm.

Do not bother answering, more scam calls!!!!! Sick to death of these. I get at least 1-2 everyday even sundays.
