Someone called Steve, claiming to be from "Claims Dept" about an accident. Australian accent. Keeps ringing from different numbers, have already blocked him several times...a nuisance call.

Scam .... I didn' answer so a voicemail message was recorded .... Julie from "Claims Dept" re an accident I was recently involved in .... There was no recent accident. Pity we don't have an effective complaints dept in Australia that follow up & prosecute these nuisances callers.

Said he was Jason from "follow up services". So I hung up. Definitely scammer.

Same as everyone else is saying. I just thought I should put that I “pressed”2”: I thought I would see exactly what it said (I’ve had MANY of these exact same recorded calls before, usually “Steve” from the claims team, this time a woman (I didn’t catch her name and I can’t be bothered listening to it all over again!)... But at the end they (one of those two) say “Press 1 to leave your details, press 2 if you would like to remove your name from the list”

LETS SEE IF THEY NEVER CALL ME AGAIN ... I DID press 2. 😆

Rings me every now and then..when I answer it hangs up.

I called back this number (missed call) - same scam - said they were from a company named First Response Team - Said they were based in Perth but could not provide ABN number.
Have been getting similar calls for months

continues to call weekly, however does not leave a message

I got the same call.
I don't understand these scammers. They must be really dumb and not realise that if someone blocks your number, they are onto your scam and won't fall for it because you call again on another number!

Someone called Amanda, claiming to be from "Claims Dept" about an accident. Australian accent. Asks for recipient to press '1' or '2' for differing reasons. No number provided, she hangs up.

I called the number back and got a message and press 1 to confirm details is a lady with a nice voice speaking with regards to my crash claim..This should be dealt with and the number disconnected.

Calls every day and hangs up. From what other people have written it is the same you have been in a car accident do you want to sue scammers that have been calling me from many different numbers for 2 years +
