Another missed call from an (02) or (08). I do not bother to answer any more all they do is hang up on me.

i have this no call me the same time twice a day. They never leave a message. It only started after i entered a competion online. I believe it to be a telemarketer from a insuranceline product. Have now blocked the number.

I had a call from this number today. I answered, and was met with silence, and was then hung up on. Rudeness!

I just received a call from this number. The woman I spoke to seemed to be a telemarketer acting on behalf of Insurance Line. I don't know how they got my number and seeing as she tried to to get me to 'confirm' my details for a free quote for funeral insurance in an overtly happy manner, I am inclined to believe that this is a scam. Like I said, I have no idea who this person was or how she got my number. I have now blocked this number and will let future calls from strange numbers ring out.

Received a call this morning on my unlisted mobile. 15 second silent delay before someone spoke as I ended the call. Tried returning the call and got: " the person at extension 2417 is unavailable, please leave a message after the tone."

Had them call 3 times today and the last few weeks from mutliple numbers. I dont get the message bank full message i just get the person at ext xxxx is unavialable

In the past week have an annoying increase in these types of unknown calls. I do not answer them anymore. Two weeks ago my elderly parents were scammed by a mob claiming to be from Telstra, speaking in an international accent which they thought nothing of as that's usual now, and told them to switch on computer due to virus. They were after credit card details, so alert your friends and family of this convincing mob, my parents have never fallen for this before and this mob were very convincing. If I do answer and there is an international accent after a small wait I will hang up straight away.

They called me yesterday and I missed it. Have blocked the number after reading these comments. I've also noticed an increase in random telemarketers from the same company calling from different numbers.

This number rings my mobile all the time. I never answer it though. Very annoying.

Me too Kerry, I've had a huge increase in these types of calls over the past few weeks. They nearly always use a different number and from different places (08, 02 & 03 numbers) so I now have about 8 blocked numbers on my phone from the past few weeks.

Must be telemarketing from a new number as the comments have only just started. It's so bloody annoying. BLOCKED also!!!

Thanks everyone. They are now blocked on my mobile too. Is anybody else getting a sudden rise with the number of these telemarketers on your mobiles recently?? I have had up to 3 or 4 a day for the last few weeks . Have they run out of home phones, so now are onto mobiles??

Telemarketers? I'm sick of answering so just reject calls but always have that niggling worry - what if it was something important. They'd leave a message though wouldnt they.

Calls and hangs up. Full message bank at other end.
