when this so called "business" calls, someone is paying for those calls, someone is paying for those operators hourly rate, someone is paying the rent on those offices, simple, answer it and ask if they can "hold on for just a second", after 20 to 30 seconds say hello, then mid intro cut them off ask them to hold again, and again and each time making the wait longer ! see how long you can keep them to hold! after 3 or 4 holds simply say not interested and hang up , if everyone does the same it wont take long for the up line manager to question his reward for effort or his up line question theirs. I had them on hold for about 5 min, as sad as it may seem, they don't call anymore, i think i am on their Do Not Call List now :)

I keep getting calls from (08) 6365 0047 but never answer, they normally try 3 times in a row but never leave message. Anyone know how they get your number? Or what they are trying to sell?

Fraud. I exposed a scammer that goes by the name of Raynold Hampton also known as Sam Anderson also known on Skype as Samrio777. This man is famous for scamming money out out people. He particularly targets women. The next day after exposing him, I received 3 reverse charge calls (02) 9037 2804. I am 100% positive it is the same guy. And I know for a fact that he doesn't work alone because I've heard other males whispering in the background. I do not receive promotional/reverse charge/insurance sales etc calls on my phone because it is a registered business phone and companies know that they can't bother people on work numbers. I'm pretty sure that this man Sam Anderson is calling to confirm if this is my number. The worst part is my message bank gives it away. :(
To the ladies out there. If you have an encounter with a man that encourages you to speak about yourself... Be smart and reverse the process. Particularly you women on dating websites. This man in particular is a smoothe talker and very cunning. However, if you encourage him to type rather than talk you will notice incongruencies between the texting lingo/grammar and the way he speaks on the phone. If you speak English as a second language be careful you may not pick up on the difference. DO NOT UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANCE GIVE THIS MAN YOUR NUMBER. I found out about him because he accidentally called me once with his number exposed. If I could find all this information on him, imagine how easily he (a proffessional scam artist) can get your address and bank details. Be careful and be smart.

I am.sick.of the calls as late as 8 pm. Atleast 4 times if not more a day on my mobile as well as my home phone. I'm on do not call register and that's not helping. I've answered and said nit interested leave me alone but they keep calling. For goodness sake why can't they stop they know I'm not interested so stop bloody calling.

Apparently I was told that if they answer, you ask them for their name of business or company, tell them to delete your number from their register since you are not interested, and if you still get called from the same company even from several different numbers you can take legal action. It's best that you document the call, like the time and number. It may be an exhausting and painful process but if it stops my phone from ringing several times a day I'm going to do it.

I keep getting missed calls from a whole range of 08 and 02 numbers, seeing as though I keep in touch with very few interstate people I usually google the number and see if they come up as spammers before calling back. This is about the 5th or 6th number I will have blocked this week!!

I am getting calls from this phone number as well as from (02) 9037 2804 which looks to be the same company... tried to answer, they hang up. Tried to call back, instantly put on hold for 30 seconds and then told, that the number is not available.
