Still spam as far as I'm concerned. I work shift work and don't like being called every week from some company wanting anything for free from me... (my time is not free and neither is theirs so they should pay people to do surveys)

This is not a scam. It is genuine research. Prior to the call I received a letter from the Dept of Health confirming that I had agreed to be surveyed on health matters from time to time (which is correct). It said that in the near future I would receive a call. Hence the missed call.
Everything is above board and legitimate. Nothing to be worried about. You can decline if you have changed your mind about participating.

It's reassuring to find out that this is a legitimate caller and not a scammer, however, I do not appreciate receiving a business call from a stranger after 8pm. Only family is welcome to call me after dark, however, they tend not to because they know that I have young children & don't want disturbances at bedtime. ECU - if you want people to answer your calls try calling at a decent hour!

No common sense. Called me at 11.00pm on a public holiday.

Got a call asking for feedback about a recent hospital visit. I’m scared of scams so I asked for their number and called in to speak to their boss. Really is all legitimate and I did the survey. No personal questions either.

I have had 8+ missed calls in work hours from this number this week. Several a day. When I’m working in a call centre I can’t answer calls from anyone, let alone unsolicited “researchers”. No message left. According to other comments it’s research about hospital but since I’ve only been to an expensive private hospital for plastic surgery I have no idea why they’d want to talk to me. My boob job is great, thanks. No I don’t want to tell researchers about it for “research” and want to know how they got my private unlisted mobile number.

There are triggers that make me suspicious, so I didn't answer. If this is legit why not leave a message? If it is computer dialling surely they have text capability.

My 13 yr old son just got a missed call from this number 10pm at night. Why would they be calling him? Is it something he may have signed up on?

They rang on a Saturday evening in late July, I found out later it was from Edith Cowan University in W.A. They rang again Sunday 20th August and confirmed they were from there. Research project or survey or something. Wanted to speak to an employed person.

It's from the Edith Cowan University research centre. I asked how they got my mobile number as it is not listed & I don't give it out. they said they got it from the white pages, I'm not listed, quite rude responses over the phone when I explained this and hung up on me :)

By looks of things from other comments it’s a health survey about hospital stays or something ! I haven’t been in a hospital for over 25 years so don’t know what they wanna know and yes random times usually after 6 ! Would like to know where I signed for future surveys tho I don’t even go to doctors haven't for last 2 yrs
