Caller: It was ECU NOT a scam or telemarketer

Number is legit for ECU surveys. Reasons they could be calling so late is because of the time difference between WA and the eastern states eg if it's 5pm here in Perth it could be 7pm or 8pm over east. Actually really nice to talk to if they do get through to you even though I did not want to participate in the survey. Never called back after I told them I didn't want to participate.

This is the Edith Cowan University (ECU) Joondalup WA main switchboard number. I am a student at ECU and I know that whichever extension number used to make an outgoing call, it goes through this number. So anyone from the Vice-Chancellor down may be calling you. Not the best set-up I agree.

Got a call from this number, with the caller claiming to be a lady from ECU. She wanted me to give my credit card details and put monthly debits in place to go towards ECU student scholarships. Not quite sure of the authenticity, so did not provide details. Suspicious.

called me at 8.15 on a weekday? not impressed.

Keeps phoning on week days and weekends and doesn't leave a message. So sick of it.
