Caller: Steve from claims

Dumb enough to leave a message. Steve from claims regarding the accident I was in. Block and report scam call.

rang the number back and it was Steve from the claims department calling about recent accident. A recorded message. Definitely a scam.

I just got a call from this number too, an automated voice about an accident that I was involved in (I haven't been involved in any accident of course!!) I say scam too!

Seems phishing ... claiming you were recently involved in an accident .. if you try to tell them you were not, they say you are being rude and hang up

Caller: Steve and 'Jason' (?) of 'Macleans Team'

'Steve' left a message on my mobile to contact him about an accident (not specified) in which he alleged I was involved. 'Jason' (I may have misheard his name) rang off immediately without explanation when I told him I had not been involved in an accident. Funny kind of scam if that's what it is, otherwise bloody inconsiderate and rude.
