Caller: Call back service from iinet

I requested a call back request from iinet. This was a legit incoming number for me, no complaints.

and I was with them for 20 years and have just moved to someone else because of the continued not so good customer service lately. Worst service since being forced to go to NBN and the line speed is horrible. My new provider will double the speed. Bye bye iinet you don't value loyal customers at all. We're just another number to you.

Was iinet calling me back about a fault with our NBM that I've been trying to sort out for a few days. Number is legit.

I had contacted iinet to report a dodgy email from them claiming iiNet Hosting will no longer support your Virtual Private Server on the 30th June 2020 meanwhile here it is 23/3/2022 lol and you'll need to find an aternate service. Email not displayed properly? Click here. After finishing my call with iinet the pleasant guy I spoke with confirmed this email was a hoax and not from them. When I hung up two minutes later this (08) 6263 6363 number called me from Perth I'm in Vic!! guess it is another a'hole trying to scam people wish these people would get a real job/life on another planet!!!

They've been calling me non stop since I put in a complaint to the ACMA as well as made a complaint against one of their customer support staff. Like, seriously.. if I didn't answer the first 2 times, I'm not going to answer the 8th time.

C'mon seriously? If I don't recognize the number I don't answer (learnt who this number belongs to from this site), they keep calling and won't leave a message and I keep ignoring. You would think that after so many calls they would get the message that I am happy with my internet and don't want to switch to their wireless junk (sent me an email too)

iinet call in response to an email query - but the stupid moron lets the home phone ring just once then hangs up. I imagine it's so the caller can record that they made the call but there was no answer. "Their work is done." I made the query by email, and did NOT provide my home phone number.
Just such exceedingly poor service and business practices since TransACT was bought by iinet.

Wow… I am very surprised at how many of these experiences match my own. I contacted via email to say reduce prices or I’m outa here and now I’m getting harassed by this number. They don’t say who they are, terrible business phone etiquette, can hardly hear/understand them and most of the time it just hangs up? Ive been with Netspace before it was consumed by iinet but looks like a good time to get a better deal. STOP CALLING IN RESPONSE TO EMAILS (fkn ijits) and sack some of these atrocious staff!

I send a support email and you guys are calling me instead of Replying to the email I sent. If I wanted you to call back I would have phoned or included it in the email. With a couple of kids in the household who have naps, I don't want to be disturbed by phone calls.

I'm not even an iinet costumer, somehow I went through them when I got my NBN fixed. Now days later at 8 pm I might add I keep getting calls from them. I can't even understand the damn voice message cause they are not f*cking Australian.. starting to piss me off.

I had the same. I send an email and they called my mobile which I do not hear all the time. Now I have to send them an email again to call me on the landline at a time when it is suitable, as they have called in the past when we were having our hot lunch.

Contacts, so I wouldn’t inadvertently answer them in future. They called today and I googled
The number to arrive at this page and see it’s iiNet! Geez… what a surprise. Submitted a querie online today and specifically stated I wanted a response in writing and not to call me. I see they make a habit of ignoring customers requests because other people have commented the same. Ignorant arse holes.

I submitted an email query as my latest emailed bill had increased without any prior notice. I received a call from (08) 6263 6363, the line was so bad I couldn't hear nor understand most of what Dennis was saying so he said he would send me an email. Great, that's what I was expecting to start with. The email I received was an automated email asking how good Dennis's customer service was and would I please do a quick online survey. Um.....REALLY?? What a waste of time - reading all of the 'complaints' I'm not surprised by my experience.....
