I answered an unsolicited call from (08) 6263 6363. The caller, claiming to be from IINet, went on to tell me what a wonderful new deal they were giving me. It was presented as a fait accompli. No question to ask if I was interested in a new deal. Just, here is the new price. I refused to accept telling the caller to email the offer. IINet this is poor customer service.

iinet, you should get rid of the idiot prank callers you employ as telemarketers. They don't do your business any good at all and just piss customers off . I got cold called at 11pm on a Saturday night. I'm sure there aren't many people who need technical support or sales pitches at that time . I for one certainly don't .

This numbers keeps calling for 1 ring before hanging up.

Called me twice in one day, I answered the second time. When I answered it then rang someone, who picked up with a delay. He then offered me 50% of a mobile service, asked me if I was the account holder, and wanted me to verify my first and last name. I asked him to tell me what my name was since he had called me. He refused and I hung up.

Keep getting a call from this number go answer and no one there so I've just Blocked it

Caller: Said it was iiNet , but told the person it they genuinely had a offer send it to my email, nothing came through so extremely suss. After all the scammers online I don't want to discuss details with someone who doesn't understand me or I them . Sounds shady.

Rang me out of the blue to check if my details were up to date. If it was Iinet then use someone who can speak English, and if it is a scammer then tell them to stick it up their xxxx.

I cancelled my account and this number immediately phoned me twice. I answered the second call and the man on the other end of the phone raised his voice at me and spoke over me when I asked why they were calling, and then when he asked me to confirm my account number, I said I didn’t feel comfortable as I get a lot of spam callers, he raised his voice again and spoke over me and told me I HAD to give him my account details to confirm I’m who he needs to speak to. He said once I told him my details he’d be able to tell me what’s wrong with my account. I told him I would call iiNet on 132258 directly which caused him to sound angry. I then hung up. I phoned iiNet and they said the only last interaction they have with me was my phone call to cancel, and told me my account is fine and is due to be deleted when I requested.

I literally just hung up from iiNet after cancelling my account due to moving somewhere that already has internet, and this number immediately phoned me to try to convince me to sign up with iiNet. Ridiculous.

Rang 3 x on 15/10/24, 16/10/24 & twice today. All calls dropped out when answered except 1 which said they were iinet. No reason for them to call me.

I have received four calls in the last 24 hours - I did not answer, however today I called the number back to be put through to IInet (I am a customer) they advised to block this number as it has likely been taken over by scammers. No record on my IInet account regarding any marketing or phone calls I had received. Safe to block it I would say.

This number called me this morning at 8-am.....it's Sunday.
I had logged a call back regarding my non existent wifi....I'm with TPG not Inet so presume they are one in the same. TPG staff are very nice, have been with them for 3yrs. Wifi sucks but slot has to do with where I live so I'm not blaming TPG at all. Cheers

Yeah they suckered me in 3k of electrical work and they still cannot call me to make an appointment that i am actually at home for. Also if you do not have the phone on you that is part of your account they will not talk to you

The same thing happened to me. The woman knew details about NBN. It’s getting odd. She had children in the background. I questioned her and she said today she said she was working from home. That was a bit strange. think I will block this number.

20 years with iinet. Wont resolve my issue. I refuse to speak to them. Every time i do they "fix" the problem by setting up a new account. Three now and so many charges for the one service. They owe me big time.
Time for the ombudsman i think.
