From the above, I now know it was iinet but when I returned their call on that number, I wasn't aware that it was a Perth number as Adelaide numbers are (08) as well. Not happy that I had to pay for a "national" call.

iinet was trying to call me to follow up a problem I had, not spam at all.

Called at 9:30 pm on Sunday night. Obviously a call to resolve my complaint re excessive charges and inconsistent invoicing. Reply by email iinet so I have everything you say in writing. Going to the TIO Monday and lodge a formal complaint.

Iinet called me back about a query I had but I couldn't hear what they were saying, just a faint voice which kept cutting out in the distance

iinet and very rude...for no reason. stupid people trying to get my company business back after losing it through months of indifferent service and high charges.

I got a call from this no at 6.39am this morning. No idea who it was and googled the no to read these comments. I added my iphone to my package. Very small user of mobile phone emergency only. They gave me 3 $15 credits for 3 months but now that has finished I have a bill way over what I would use for mobiles. Tried emailing them asking them to explain in writing why. Keep telling me to go to Toolbox. Dont want to do this I want them to tell me in writing why it is so high. Now I get this call this morning. I am not at all happy with them since adding my mobile to the package and thinking about going back to prepaid. I only call from it in emergencies and have it there if I am out and my family needs to contact me in an emergency so cannot understand this huge bill and they are not prepared to tell me in writing.

I am not with iiNet (or Westnet who this is apparently now too??)
Why do they keep ringing me?

Monday - they rang at 7am in the morning - what the heck???
Very rude, incompetent and obviously have no idea of acceptable calling hours. Wish they would stop!

A follow up call after a fault had been resolved.

They will only put you on hold for 10 minutes if you allow them to put you on hold for 10 minutes. I have had similar calls where I am put immediately on hold and I hang up on them immediately. Do the same!

Received 2 calls on a Sat arvo & put on hold as soon as answered. Not with iinet so no idea why they called but dont ring ppl then put them on hold for 10mins

Dealings with iiNet are sporadic at best.. they assumed the TRANSACT company back into the fold.. my phone has been barred for outgoing and yet they still have not provided me invoices for "supposed" arrears.. what a bunch of thieves

I too have problems with iinet that needed threatening with TIO by email recently. Call rang once at 9.40pm waking me up, no message left. No return email either!
