Caller said they were from ANZ Perth Had I authorised a charge on credit card
I asked them to identify themselves and they hung up

they said they are from amazon and i don't order anything from amazon

Same story here but he was from commonwealth bank, not ANZ. 😂 At least he’s mixing it up to keep his day interesting. Very rude and hung up on me.

Called me and spoke with a very thick accent, I believe Indian. I said "excuse me" and he flat out responded angrily "f*ck you" and hung up on me.....

I was told that there was someone trying to make a $1000+ charge on my ANZ account. Press 1 to authorise or 2 to decline

Didn't answer. received two calls within a couple of minutes. read above comments so glad I didn't answer.

Advised they were from Amazon. I advised them I'm a Police officer and asked if they wanted to proceed. They hung up.

Scammer - the authorities really need to grip these individuals (preferably around the throat), and move to protect the potentially gullible from these types of scams. They were Amazon today and I don’t even use them.

Caller: Claimed to be from Paypal

"Ryan" with an Indian accent advised there was suspicious activity on my Paypal account. I advised him that I don't have an active Paypal account. He said that I do and proceeded to (correctly) quote my email address.I hung up and called back to "we are unable to connect your call at this time"

Said they were from the Commonwealth bank - knew my name and where I banked and wanted confirmation. Anyone that asks for confirmation you know it's a scam

Called and said I had ordered an iPhone from Amazon. I told him to get a real job and stop scamming people . He said I will authorise the phone on your card then.

Scam. Tried saying my Amazon account was hacked and then pretend to help you by trying to get into your computer. Beware!

My phone auto declined the call, but I got a message saying I missed a call and caller did not leave a message. I'll block it now after checking.

Said they were from visa. Indian accent. I said I didn’t have visa. Called me a liar. I hung up

Called saying they were from Commonwealth Bank, I told them they weren't my bank provider and the caller proceeded to argue with me saying I'm “putting myself in danger.” I kept repeating my previous statement and he hung up.

Told me there was suspicious activity on my visa and wanted to know the last time I had logged into my account. Told him I didn’t believe he was genuine, hung up and blocked the number
