They left voicemail saying from Bank West. Whoever says this is from Bank West, yoi are from spam people.
No Bank Customer Service will ring you about anything unless you ask them to ring or you ring them if its about your account it will be by mail some general info will be by email.
This guy sounded like call center and didnt call my first name and got half of my surnamel What a joke and I dont understand what he said he rang me for.
SPAM for sure.

I called back number (08) 6247 9700 spoke to a woman who said company name is Bank West.

I received a call from this number and was bank west fraud division following up on something I had been into a branch querying couple hours earlier, not spam

Bankwest called me back about a matter they were sorting for me and they knew everything I had discussed already and solved my banking matter.

Bankwest security centre querying payment I had made earlier in the day -genuine call -did not ask for any info other than relating to the transfer I had made and why required.

Definitely Bankwest, no matter what the naysayers here think. Had the call re a transaction I'd made earlier. Yes, annoying, but I'm also glad they're doing their job

Legit call but didn't leave a message. Followed it up with the Bank and confirmed it was from them.

I tried to make a deposit to a crypto exchange, then about half an hour later received a call from this number. It was a legit Bankwest employee calling from the fraud team just to make sure the transaction was legit and to warn about "crypto scams". It was annoying but not really a scam caller or spam, just the bank doing their job (however lame that job is).

They keep hanging up when I ask for one

Be careful, people saying this is Banwest have either been scammed or are part of it. I have called Bankwest and he triple checked this is not thier number. It came via a text telling me to call back - a diferent number - 130132574 - which is 1 digit off their real number. Scams are getting sophisticated. Look up and call the banks real phone number - never a number you receive from a cold call or text

LEGITIMATE! When you return a call to this number, it goes back to their main telephone banking helpline.
If you save this number in your phone, it might also come up if BW helpline are calling you. This would also include the Fraud Investigation team if you are making unusual transactions.

Legitimate number - rang confirming fraudulent activity on one of my credit cards. Definitely not spam.

Most people claim this is a legit BankWest phone number. Maybe so, but Never Ever give any of your banking info over the phone to anybody.

Definitely a scam, got my name totally wrong & I don’t even have a BankWest account! Can’t understand how people can be so gullible to fall for this kind of thing.
