Caller: Said they were from Telstra

Said they were from Telstra
Could not give me information about my self tried to say they could not give out that information so I hung up on them. I called Telstra said it was not them it was a scam advised to block them.

Caller: Marketing Company

Telstra gives out your number to this mob and you get calls when there is a new promotion or when you make a change to your telstra account. It is less than 1 month since they rang and I requested them to remove our number from their contact list. Last week we changed from ADSL to NBN and therefore the calls from this number have started again. You cannot win, wish telstra would not give away our details like that.

Calls numerous times a day and leaves no message! Won’t answer any calls I don’t know

Caller: Marketing Company ringing about NBN - Telstra gives them your contact details.

This marketing company has been ringing lately as we have telstra mobiles & recently updated one of our handsets & this causes telstra to pass our contact information to the marketing company, even though I have asked these people to remove us from the list previously.
The problem is that they ring multiple times each day and it is so annoying.
So if there is any change to your telstra account or a new promotion/marketing campaign from telstra then you will start getting calls from this company, it should not be allowed.
So again this number is constantly ringing me so I answered and immediately said "please remove us from your contact list", the guy on the line said "OK I will put you on the do not call register" and I told him that "we are already registered with DO NOT CALL" to which he confirmed that it does not matter because we will just go back on their contact list again in the future at telstras request.

Idiot woke me and didn't leave a message. I'm fed up to the back teeth with these pests. You'd think there had now been enough complaints about this number for it to have been deactivated, but obviously not. I've now blocked the number.

They phone and just hang up. I have blogged this number.

This call is from TSA Telemarketing.
they just want to have your services going to the NBN or check options to improve your plan.
I had my mom and dad get their plans from them. Thumbs up :D

Don`t answer,just another scam call

Caller: Scammer call - every day - re. NBN

This is Sep 2018 Have been receiving scam calls for over a month - due for NBN in Jan 2019. I don't understand how these people get my number. Lots of calls. Telstra Unwelcome Calls Support were not very supportive re. this number. Kept rattling on about the scammer process, even though I kept saying I didn't need to know more about scammers, just wanted number barred. Kept saying this is international call - even though she had not asked for the number. I confirmed my name , number and day/month of birth, but before she could block, needed to know my billing address. I have no recall of supplying my billing address to Telstra to confirm my ID, but apparently they need it to block a call. Very frustrating! I barred call from my home phone instead.

Just had a call from them, Claimed to call from Brisbane when the number is obviously from Perth

I've had 5 calls from this number in the last week. They claim to be Telstra but clearly aren't. I just hang up on them
