I have this number call 2-3 times a day, if something is so urgent why aren't they leaving a message? I refuse to answer such stupid calls when this number is on a business account that's not even my responsibility. f*ck off telstra.

Someone rang from this number, I said Hello, they said Hello and then hung up. If this is truly Telstra Business they are paying someone to do no work and annoy people with useless phone calls.

I keep getting calls from this number, but when it goes to the answering machine they always hang up.
FWIW all of our accounts (landline, mobile phones and internet) are with iinet (not Telstra) and we're on the Do Not Call list.

Called me 12.45pm on a Thurs arvo. Identified as Telstra business. Apparently I'd made a few calls recently to the Telstra biz number and they were following up. Nothing too annoying. Spoke to a polite clear speaking man named Brendan who had an Aussie accent. I had no issues, he thanked me, ended call. No drama.

I got the same story, Telstra Business Improvement. Then he asked for my password to access the account - I laughed at him and hung up.

Just had this number ring me claiming it was Telstra Business. Couldn't even get my name right, so told them to p@ss off until they could speak and read English. Don't trust anyone who can't even pronounce a simple name correctly.

REAL FACTS.......... This is a recording system operated by the CIA !! (USA) . No kidding !!. NOT associated with call centers etc. etc.. Most people do not know that the CIA makes telephone calls constantly to get "voice-sound prints" of any person in that area . The Data is to be submitted to the Central Analysis System to identify querky (voices & sounds) IE -people & events , in a specific geographical area for future Profiling . All the system needs is a few seconds of sound from any area to make an analysis of the future . The best reaction to this is to immediately start screaming hysterically some obscene non-sense into the phone before it hangs up . This may....create the type of recording they do not actually need . (Remember they are recording everything from phone pick-up) . The whole problem is that you must have done something "suspicious" !! ....to be attracting their attention at all . "Suspicious" could be anything , such as .... buying a pet animal , for example ??. So you tell me what it means .

They called again today, and hung up. I phoned Telstra, spent 32 minutes in queues and speaking briefly with consultants. One gave me a direct number to phone with complaints about unwelcome calls. It is 1800 805 996. The second consultant promised to block the number on our account. That apparently takes 24 hours. The Telstra experience would have been better if their offer to call back actually worked, instead of returning me to the queue. Neither consultant was willing or able to say that the number has any link to Telstra but one did mention the word hacked.

Very annoying mob that phones each day around 3PM, with either call centre sounds in the background or a hang up as soon as we answer.

Im guessing theyre only phoning businesses that DONT have bundles for their business line, internet and mobiles all in one OR you recently made an enquiry about a product and then didn't sign up for it. So maybe tell them its annoying you enough that youre changing to another company unless they stop calling you. Then the do not call register will work because you are NOT a customer with them. They are allowed to call their customers anytime they like, its in the contract.

Not a telemarketing call. This is a Telstra Brisbane call centre number. I missed the call a few times, but when I did pick up they were really helpful. Asked me if I was happy with the service, or if I had any problems with the reception. They gave me some information regarding Telstra cheap movie tickets, and help set me up my online account. The call is just to check up on customers to see if they are happy. Great initiative. Don't know what all the fuss is about.
