It's telstra

Yup, the same number keeps calling me - it rings twice, then hangs up - so sod 'em, I've blocked the little bastards.

It is Telstra. I just had a conversation with a very friendly and helpful young lady checking to see if issues with a couple of new installations were resolved to my satisfaction. She gave me a number to call for any issues that apparently doesn't go to the Philippines (though I get good service there too) 1800 634 055.

I have just blocked this number after receiving over ten missed calls from then in the past fortnight. They never leave a message and cannot be contacted back to tell them to pi$$ off!!

They have been calling me daily for weeks. I have caller ID and never answer but still they persist. How long before they realise I am not interested?

Have a $1.00 charge on my phone bill from this number for a 10 second call.

3 times in 3 days. Caller now blocked.
When I answer they hang up. Total f*ckwits....

Had a chat with them today (finally after days of calling and hanging up) as said, wanted my information on DOB , refused to give them my info. If I want something, I seek it out, I don't jump on the first offer that a stranger gives me when they call out of the blue!

Been getting a call from this number most mornings for over a week, most annoying, don't leave a message and when it goes to the answering system they don't leave a message.

put them in your reject list in your mobile phone go to sitting and then call it should be in there i have a lg phone

Depends on the mobile, but usually it'll be in phone settings somewhere. I'd suggest you google 'how to block numbers on a <insert type of mobile here>.

They are calling me too.. I answered once and they hung up.
I had a feeling it was a dodgy call.

My partner was constantly receiving calls from this scam company, their numbers being (08) 6228 4014 and also ending with the numbers 09, 10. I believe that they have more numbers. We have contacted the Australian Federal Police as such scamming offences are Federal Criminal Offences, not state. I suggest that anyone else being contacted by these numbers contact the AFP and lodge a formal complaint. But make sure you have any records of the calls logged and verified by someone that would be trusted by the AFP. Good luck.

Phone supposed to be blocked from marketing calls yet have still received two from (08) 6228 4014 which disconnected when answered.

If you have an iphone, go into the call history/logs, hit the info symbol to the right of the phone number they are calling from. This will bring up the call details, then scroll to bottom of screen and 'block this caller'.

I was sick and tired of getting
missed calls from this number. Phoned back and got a recording that was so fast I couldn't understand a word of what was being said. Still getting the calls. Will try to call Telstra as I am already a customer.

How do you block numbers on your mobile

I received a call from this number (supposedly Telstra). Gurav was wanting to ask about my experience with Tesltra; he knew my name and wanted me to confirm my date of birth. I informed him that I was not willing to disclose this information, and that he had initiated the call. He explained that he was authentic (may well have been) and that he has my details because I am a current Telstra customer. I informed him that I am actually no longer a Telstra customer, at which he was surprised. I explained that this should be something he is aware of, and ended the conversation. It may well have been a legitimate call, but I am not happy to hand out my personal information when they have called me.
