They're at it again.
Regrettably, if you're a Telstra customer, because the caller seems to be a Telstra subcontractor, it is permitted under the 'do not call' register rules owing to an existing business relationship.

Obviously a charity as they're the only ones allowed to call if you're on the Do Not Call Register!

I bought a sports whistle which is super loud. They soon get the message when you give it full blast through the phone line. It's a bit hard to make calls when your ear is ringing from exposure to loud noise. Haven't had any call back.

@ Kim...Same here. I finally answered and affirmed he was talking to me however when he wanted my DOB I said I don't give out my details. He was friendly, almost too friendly, so even though my guard went up I did answer his questions after all he is doing his job and has to put food on the table just like the rest of us. I kept 'control' of my information and the call and said I am happy with all my products, thanks. He was polite and ended the call in a friendly and efficient manner.

Love it. This number calls daily, I have it diverted to "Its Lenny" (Google it, examples on YouTube) and I hope they enjoy their chat with a computer. :-)

The do not call register at "donotcall.gov.au doesn't seem to block unwanted calls, i still get spam/cold callers even though my number has been on the do not call register since it first came out. I instruct them they are in breach of the do not call register, after i have gained relevant information (name, company etc) and log in to report the callers. Only way these people will learn and hit them with a bill from the government for breaching my privacy.

I have an UNLISTED number precisely so I don't get these unwelcome calls!! I called the number and it is a telemarketer for Telstra - they are NOT my phone company. I attempted to take my name off their list but was required to give all my personal details. NOT happy!
