I had a guy called ‘mark’ call me today. Looking for a friends husband. I asked how he got my number & he said looking up the husbands info on web & my name (& number I presume) came up. Feel a bit weirded out by it all.

Had Mark calling me and my sister looking for someone I worked with 2 years ago.

Called him back to see how they got my contact details and apparently he has access to close contacts of people.

Seems very bizarre that he has access to people's details out of nowhere.

Same message -- Please contact Mark as soon as possible on (08) 6214 4514 regarding an important matter. Thank you, further linking mobile phone number into this, too: 0428 582 878 -- Spam, for sure.

Had a note in my mail box to "please ring mark on (08) 6214 4514" on a scrap bit of note paper.

Rang my number, seeking to contact someone who lived on my street. They wouldn't identify themselves or provide any further information when requested. Felt very dodgy.

I called back number (08) 6214 4514 spoke to a woman who said company name is Pioneer Credit.
