It's a Telstra marketing company. Ring the number and u can be put through to Telstra "Remove from Marketing contact list" Hopefully this will work

rude and scammy. who the f*ck are these people? they asked me if i was happy with my Telstra billing so far, i said "yeah, i think so". then they said "have a nice day" and hung up. i then wanted to call them back and question them, but i wont bother having read this and other forums. they need to be found and eliminated.

Recieved 5 calls within 10 minutes from this number - when answering, there is no one there.
Found out from this website that it's a Telemarketer trying to sell Telstra products (they are not actually from Telstra!)

Phoned the Telstra nuisance calls number on 1800 805 996 - gave them the number that was calling us and all future calls will be blocked from this number!

they ring, you answer, they hang up, you think you need to call them back because you have missed several calls from the same number. So you call back to find out they are a tele marketing scam. NOT HAPPY!!! Wasting my money and business time

Just started getting these calls everyday this week. After reading this I'm going to answer them and then not say anything and let them do the "Hello, hello!" with no reply. hehehe

This number called me for the first time today. Little do they know that this # is my mobile internet & will never be answered...my computer sent me a message about the missed call. Keep calling suckers!!!

Several calls over past 2 weeks, when I answer however no response then hangs up. Glad I didn't waste (mobile) call back. So this is how Telstra makes extra call revenue !!

This number needs to have legal action taken against it, the operator of this number needs to be dealt with. I run a business and I'm sick of my time being wasted from this caller. I'm sure someone will sue this organization for lost time at work!

They call my business daily also - I usually do not answer if I recognise the number. It's just another telco spam call. If I ever do get a telemarketer on the phone I come across excited about their offer & ask them to hold. Then watch the flashing light to see how long they will hang on for.... If they are going to waste my time every day I will waste theirs too!

Have received two hang up calls from them today. Will add them to my contacts as a "Do Not Answer".

I will NEVER use Telstra again. The company seems manipulative and deceitful in so many areas I don't trust anything it does anymore.

Just another ploy by private enterprise to raise extra cash. Wouldn't have happened back when there wasn't privatisation.. I think we should ALL start a Class Action against Telstra and other companies for allowing this and other things such as loss of time, eranings, expences from what privatisation of companies are actually costing this country now. It's fine to allow this in other countries, they can afford it with the people there are overseas. Australia is small in comparrison and each waisted call and time it wastes the public and business's. The Australian Polititions need to be held accountable for thier COSTLY descissions they made and continue to make up untill they DIE. Anyone else is held accountable for EVERY action they do in this world, EXCEPT a political pawn or employee. As a country, we need to take control BACK from the government employee's in parliment and they need to do what they are menat to do....which is be the forefront of the TaxPayers...NOT doing things JUST for themselves. When you vote, THINK about the ones that actually pull the strings. Not the ones on the ballot papers !!!!

I have had at least one call per day for nearly a week, Cant ring back - to cancel calls seems impossible. Would not even consider dealing with this company
