Caller: They said from NBN haha! She said she was calling due to the fluctuation of speed and wanted me to do a speed check. I did and it was at normal high speed and she said it was too slow. I asked here which city she is calling from, Melbourne but the number is from WA! Lies! She put me through to her "technician" who was in Sydney. Oh the scammers. Hang up on these criminals.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra Guy with a thick accept claimed to be from Telstra. He insisted other people were using my internet connection. I played along and followed his instructions. He became frustrated with me when my computer reacted differently than he expected when I typed WINDOWS-R keys. Nothing happened since I run Linux. He then hung up on me. How rude!

I did not answer. All the comments above were helpful. I must say that I admire these scammers for their versatility. One phone number pretending to be six different companies.
