purported to be Amazon

Pre-recorded message said "you've deposited $200. Please call on 1800 number"

Message said there was a purchase from my Amazon acc. They answered my callback with "Amazon ..." but then put the phone down. MM

Caller: Claimed to be from Amazon Customer Service

Claimed that $299 was about to be debited from my account (which doesn't exist) unless I pressed '1' to talk to someone else. Did not do this but listened to the rest of message which went on about the various numbers to press for different services; finally terminated the call mid-message. Had same message several days previously from 0411 643 840.

Left a message to say 99.00 would be billed to my account?? if I didnt call a certain number etc

Mine was automated phone call from eBay, stating that I have just bought something for $288.90 c. If you did not purchase anything was to ring a completely different number. Definateley a scam as I have not used eBay in over 10 months.

Caller: They said they was from eBay, & said some one is using my account

I think it's a SCAM

You missed a call from (08) 6146 1870, who said "$99.99. And same(?) will be debited from your account. If you have not placed the order please call us at 618." This message was provided by Telstra at no charge to you.

Music on hold. Ithink they are reversing the charges and trying to keep you on the line.

left a recorded voice msg - saying my ebay account had been charged and to call back to cancle the order if it wasnt my order

Caller: They said it was eBay

They were about to process an ordered item $299 And to press 1 to either accept or block the transaction.

Dodgy as: scam scam scam

Voicemail left. States 300 dollars will be debited from my account and was told to call to cancel this

automated message advising that $$ was going to be debited to my account for an order I never place

DO NOT ANSWER...... S C A M. They have many numbers... Block them ALL!!!

SCAM - apparently a eBay $290 gift call. I called bulls**t and they hung up.

Caller: Supposedly eBay

"Purchases" made on my account, call them back to cancel these purchases.

I called back number (08) 6146 1870 was put on hold music but no one answered the call.
