She just said commonwealth bank here and with that I told her my bank doesn't call me - she hung up

Emanual from CBA alerting me to the fact $499 was transferred from my account and I needed to login to check. Hung up.

Caller: "Kevin Smith from Commonwealth Bank"

Said there was a fraudulent transaction on my account but did not know my name a wouldn't give me any details.

She said she was from CBA and asked if I had made an overseas transaction to the USA this morning. When I asked where she was ringing from, she replied Melbourne but I was wary as my phone had noted Karratha WA. When I asked her where in the USA she paused and then hung up. She was quite pleasant in manner and well spoken with a strong Indian accent. BUT was dodgy.

Caller: “Commonwealth bank”

Didn’t address me by name. She hung up when I told her I’m not with commonwealth.

Caller: They claimed to be commonwealth bank but with very heavy Indian accent

They claimed that my commbank account has detected international transaction of $400 and ask me to tell them my csv, they got agitated when I questioned them
