I just got a missed call from this number.. and its definitely not the first time. I have requested them not to call me but I would say they do at least once a week.

I am the owner of Aussieinsure Pty Ltd ( all one word ) on the gold coast and we do not use or condone telephone marketing. We are a referral-based practice and have been so since 1991. I have been in contact with the insurance line based out of Melbourne to see if it is them and they are also looking into it to see if they can put a stop to these people.

I've got two hang-ups from this number.  Tried calling it back and it goes to an answering machine with no room for messages.  I then tried calling back (07) 5699 8300 (I figure a telemarketing company will have a range of numbers) and got the same message as on the prime number; I did not leave a message.

I then looked up "Aussie Insure" as the previous post mentioned and found a contact number for a company which (after calling them) is apparently a small business which is too small to justify telemarketing (very friendly guy too). I doubt it was the 'Aussie Insure' I found on a Google search for the name.

Hopefully someone will actually be on the other end of a call from this number so I can find out who they really are!
