do not call list is a dud, this number is becoming a thorn in my side!

Agree with advice on here. If you call 1800 178 022 and say that you are being harrassed by (07) 5668 0854 calls they as much as admit it's Mater Lotteries. They did say it can take a day or 2 to stop the calls. I used to buy tickets but not any more.

Its NOT RSL.....rsl teelmarketers have integrity and are led by a team leader who is very vigilant about people being called only once a day for 4 days and not always consecutively. The RSL themselves monite the call centre daily to ensure that the call centre is abiding by their requirments. Many different campaigns share the number and the office building.

Thanks to all for the 1800 178 022 number. I thought I was doing the right thing by supporting this crowd at $50 per month, but if there is one thing I hate it is pushy telemarketers, and charities that are not happy with what they have got. I have just rung and cancelled the monthly tickets and made sure I'm on the do not call database

Despite me repeatedly requesting they remove me from their database they call every day. I would never again donate to them for this reason.

I have received several unanswerered calls from this number this past week, I am not interested in their lottery tickets, who knows if anyone wins

I received a call on my mobile from this number 11.50am EST today. The guy was trying to sell Mater Tickets. There was so much background noise that he was barely audible. So many people all talking at once. I asked who he was? His Reply was Mater Prize Home. This is the first time he answered in 20 missed calls. They ring about 4-6 times in a day, if you don't answer. HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOW BLOCKED. They are a marketing agent for Mater Prize Homes.

Had a missed call from them this morning, saved the number and blocked the calls. Straight to voicemail ;) hehehe

I joined Mater Foundation for $30 a month. Now I keep getting calls to buy more tickets. I received 3 calls in one day. Harassment!!

its the QLD lotteries, just set up an name on your phone as I have done, I called it "Reject Call" and never take it!

Wow so many people with the same problem from the same number. Thank you everyone for letting me know who has just called me. I have never donated or bought tickets from any of the organisations mentioned so I have no idea how they got my mobile number.

Called twice a day rang back engauged. Only bought 1 lot of tickets & they were from the mater. Last time I donate to them.

Mater home lotteries - if you ever entered the home lottery, you are on their list :D

As all above, donate to the Mater also, maybe they are selling to someone else? Will be cancelling donations if so. It's getting really annoying!

I'm pretty sure it is the Mater, I wish there was a way to stop the harrassing phone calls which come through frequently

I get calls also from this number constantly sometimes 6 times in one day then nothing for a week or so then it starts all over again, can't call them back so can't even make formal complaint as don;t know who they are. I am going to try & research further & take to the local govt. if I ahve to!
