Hahaha, just got to say thanks to you guys. Today I missed a phone call from that number so I googled it at came across this page. Later this afternoon that number called again and I got an asian woman saying I'd visited her trading website months ago and wanted my email address to send me more information. I told her I'd never been to it and that I'd googled the phone number and that it's nothing but a scam and to never call me on my number ever again. I beat her to the hang up button! :-) So.. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah I got the same call as well. I didn't bother telling her anything...a few seconds after she said we had spoken along time ago I told her, "I hope we dont speak ever again and F off".

Didn't leave a message.

A lady appears to have got my phone number from a local sporting website of which my details are listed, as I am a coach. She has called and is trying to offer some sort of index trading investment opportunity. She called last week saying they are based in Hong Kong.She then placed me on to her ?manager? whom I spoke with briefly. She then said she?d call back next week. She called about 10 minutes ago and asked if I would like to view the website.Wanting to get off the phone, i started to give her my email address. Then I stopped mid way and asked again how she got my email. She said we had spoken a long time ago and the information was no longer on her system. I proceeded to ask her for a direct web-link so that I can make up my mind without giving out my details. At this time she hung up.The number she called from appeared to be Australian: (07) 5667 7151. She had an accent, possibly Asian.Anyway, I thought you might like to know. Surely a scam. Have reported it Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC)

I asked what it was regarding and she stated "currency trading".

I asked again and she just repeated the same thing and then kept asking me if she could just email me the information.

I said I don't have any currency to trade and asked when exactly I visited the website and she hung up on me.
