I called number back and a recorded message said it was a charity fund raising company called Apple Marketing Group. They don't leave a message and usually phone around lunchtime.

When I get a call from one of these mobs - I enter them in my contacts as Charity Money Grab or similar. When they ring next time I know - so I answer the call by saying hello "Elvira the Dominatix, Butt slappers emporium, can I help you or slap you?"

This phone number is seemingly connected to (07) 5657 9013; (07) 5657 9018; (07) 5657 0894 + (07) 5657 0893. They are all associated to some multiple Charity Fund/ Telemarketer and are definitely deemed annoying. They phone people - not leaving any message but in the hope that you will be curious enough and contact them back. Try not to take their phone call and definitely don't contact them back - because it just further encourages them to annoy others. The 'NO-CALL REGISTER' FAILS to protect people from these nuisance telemarketers dressed in Charity clothing. I recommend that people seriously consider block these phone numbers themselves.

these people may have been using (07) 5657 9013 and (07) 5657 9018 also. I blocked these numbers and I am getting a call from (07) 5657 9012.

I tried to bar this number but the 'barred number memory' on my phone is full. That's how many nuisance calls I have had. So annoying! At least I have caller ID display.

Received a call from (07) 9657 9011 on landline & when I didn’t answer my mobile rang straight after from (07) 5657 9013 presumably from the same place. I let my phone ring 7 times before picking up & it seems to weed out the telemarketers only problem is they call every day!

I got a call on my mobile today which I just ignored and have since blocked. This all began after I made an online donation to the Children's hospital a couple of years ago. Shortly after, I was inundated with snail mail and phone calls from every charity under the sun. Lesson learned - I don't donate to anyone anymore as one donation is never enough so they hound you for more and more. Tip: Don't sign up for competitions in shopping centres either, once they have your details, they sell them on and once your details are out there, you are fair game.

Nuisance caller, block or do not answer. DO NOT complete their online (internal) Do Not Call form ... you are giving them your info if you do this.

all scammers get around the do not call register by using an auto dialling program. i live in nsw and just ignore all callers with an 07 phone prefix. they are usually auto dialled.

They call everyday sometimes twice a day.
Since everyone says they do not speak I will not answer, but would love to tell them to go away and stop being such a pest.

Hi all similar sufferers - Here is what I do to these and their cronies.Check this site first then I ADD them to my contacts as 'Scammer' - Scammer 1,2,3,4 etc or not wanting to decry these people I also use NUISANCE - Nuisance 1,2,3 etc I'm up to Nuisance 12 now but whenever i see such caller I D's - I just let it ring - They never go past 5 rings in case the answer machine clicks in ;-)

Just block them and be done with it. Annoying charity callers.
